Writers spend every day surrounded with fictional heroes and heroines. Our characters always seem to beat the bad guys and go on to happier days. In reality, that’s not always the case. I’d like to take a moment to thank all of our real life heroes - past and present. The men and women of our military and first responders, along with their families, who live as the truest heroes every day.
